“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

I’m a pretty cool cucumber on the outside. It is who I want to be and who I feel the Lord wants me to be. But, slice open the cucumber and, at times, it is a different story. I start to worry.

Just the other night I popped awake at 2:00 AM.  I had been dreaming about and was now awake worrying about how I was going to get everything under control at work. When I was running my startup, it would be things like, “how are we going to get the code complete?” Or, “how do we market this thing and get enough customers?” The worry, as you may associate with, can quickly overtake and consume you. However, as Believers, we are not supposed to do this. If we focus on His Word and pray about it, the Word says we will find comfort in Him.  I know I do. And, that comfort is what we need in our daily ventures – our careers; our startups.

The thing is that day to day, when I work with Believers, I find that I (and we) do not bring up our Faith and lean on it. It feels like it is almost “taboo” to do so; it is kind of awkward. So, it is on my heart to try to change that.

I’m hoping that will happen in a couple of ways…

1) We (We = see Point 2) will send out an email – probably once a month – with content exactly along the lines of the above. I hope these emails will help boost your Faith (or maybe just be a good reminder) when it comes to business / your career / your startup. Maybe even bring Faith to the surface more often.

2) That you might volunteer to write one of these. Become a disciple. Share these emails with others.

That’s my and other’s mission.  Sign up below and let’s make some good happen, help people have God’s power to succeed and spread the Good News.
