I think I’m known for (and hope I’m known for) being a great listener. I think listening and deep understanding is important in all kinds of relationships. But, I also like speaking and presenting. As an example, today Americans send 3.5 billion text messages every day. It is not unheard of for businesses to see eight to ten times growth (in both revenue and data) in less than one year. In the past, handling this demand was easy as the way data was entered and retrieved never changed, and technology kept decreasing in cost. However, the “rules of the game” will have to change to handle this information explosion. In this vendor neutral and informative session, Mr. Jeffrey Cox, a 30 year Business, Technology and Information consultant will share his thoughts on what organizations need to be thinking about, and ready for, in the very near future to be ready for these challenges.
